My hope in creating the Katydid Cards Emotional Processing Toolkit is that we may build the capacity to become more emotionally intelligent, self-aware and skilled in regulating emotions.
Bringing awareness to the sensations we experience in our bodies is an important step to becoming emotionally aware. Recognizing how we feel and identifying the emotions that might be connected supports emotional regulation over time.
It is specifically designed for anyone and everyone-all ages and stages-seeking to understand and regulate their emotions.
These practices can be done alone, with a partner or friend or facilitated by a teacher, coach or therapist. It helps to journal or keep notes as you build your emotional awareness.
